'Relay' is a short fiction film inspired by an invisible but everyday reality: the extreme precariousness of riders working in the black in Spain. These “ghost workers”, mostly migrants with no legal possibility to open an account, are forced to rent official profiles, handing over up to 70% of their income to the account holder who takes advantage of their irregular situation. The demand is so high that some take advantage of their need to swindle them, knowing that they have nowhere else to turn.
